Step 1: How to Change Your Blogger Blog Title

Your blog title shows in browser tabs and Google search results.

  1. Go to blogger.com → Left menu → Settings
  2. Top section "Basic" → Find "Title"
  3. Click the pencil icon → Type new title → Click "Save"

Step 2: How to Add/Change Blog Description

Description = Your meta description. Google shows this under your title in search results.

  1. Settings → Basic → Find "Description"
  2. Click "Edit" → Write 150-160 characters max

Step 5: Where Your Title and Description Show Up

  1. Google Search: Title = blue link. Description = black text below
  2. Browser Tab: Title shows at top of Chrome/Firefox

  4. Blogger Homepage: Description shows under your blog title

Important: After changing, it takes 1-7 days for Google to update search results. Use Google Search Console to request re-indexing faster.
